My name is Jack Zimmanck. I'm a Service Professional, just like you.
After decades working in the corporate world, as advertising executive, marketing innovator, business copy writer, sales leader, and management consultant, I missed the close relationships and sense of shared accomplishment that comes with helping smaller businesses succeed.
As a life-long writer, I've written hundreds (perhaps thousands) of articles on marketing, business leadership, sales team building, and competitive advantage, just to name a few.
In the end, marketing and storytelling are the threads that run through everything of consequence I've accomplished and the things I know the most about.
So, combining the best of all those years of hands-on corporate experience, I founded Brand Arts with the purpose of helping independent professionals and small professional service firms build unforgettable brands and lasting client relationships.
Outside of business, my writings range from articles on building radio control airplanes, to sustainable business growth, and classic science fiction. In my (much) younger days, I played the infield in the American Legion baseball league, was a reasonably competitive racquetball player, and an avid snow skier.
I have a BA in Marketing Communications / Journalism from Southern Illinois University. While at SIU, I had the privilege of taking courses in innovative problem-solving under internationally recognized futurist, R. Buckminster (Bucky) Fuller.
